Summer snowflakes are small but always a welcome to spring. (Yes, they bloom in spring, not summer as the name suggests). Leucojum ‘Gravetye Giant’ is probably the best for cutting. Snowflakes (Leucojum) are taller with multiple flowers than Snowdrops (Galanthus), which have single “milk drop” flowers. Most snowdrops are too short for cutting.
