Heirloom Mums
Heirloom Mums
The coppery mums featured here hold a special place in my heart. I have no idea what variety it is and have named them ‘Gracie’s mums.’ This mum was gifted to my grandmother at my great-grandmother, Gracie’s, funeral.
They were planted in my grandmother’s yard, then shared with my mother, then me. I hope to eventually have a large enough stock to share not only the blooms but also plant starts of this special flower. Heirloom mums are a must in a fall cutting garden.
