Gomphrena (Globe Amaranth)

I’m not going to lie. These are a bit of a pain to harvest. However, they are so cute and easy and dry amazingly well that I grow them anyway. The small round globes remind me of gumballs (I need to find an antique gumball machine and fill them with these!). The flowers dry perfectly, holding both their color and shape well. A bag of the dried flower heads also makes the perfect floral wedding confetti.
