Chocolate Lace Flower

From cream, to pale pink, to deep burgundy, chocolate lace flower is a workhorse in the cutting garden. It’s range of color allows it to mix well with just about everything. Harvest when the flower is fully open and early in the morning to keep it from wilting. Chocolate lace flower is in the carrot family (Daucus Carota) and will sometimes be called Dara or chocolate Queen Anne’s lace. Even the spent flowers leave a nice seed head that adds interest to an arrangement.
